Other informationThe Optica Q is a compact optical quality sorter. It reads fifteen to eighteen tons of seed potatoes per hour based on their quality. In equivalent terms, the Optica Q reads as fast as three people in the reading room. This results in significant cost savings and more importantly opportunities for further professionalization. With the Optica Q every see potato is measured for its true value allowing you to maximize your harvest.

The Optica Q can be used alongside our optical size sorter the Optica CS, conventional shock or shake sorters or in combination with machines from other brands. This flexibility offers solutions for various scenarios. You can process seed potatoes immediately after size sorting with the Optica Q or even after a storage period.
With the Optica Q you can sort clods foreign material and quality all in one pass. The sorting results are collected in three separate outputs. Potatoes with issues like scab, rhizoctonia, wireworms, shape abnormalities or damage are easily separated out. The Optica Q recognizes a wide range of defects by default, driving the different sorting results. Do you have specific sorting requirements? we can teach the Optica Q to meet your needs.
Due to its compact size the Optica Q can be easily integrated into an existing optical or traditional sorting line, even within a competitors sorting line.
